Alabama Moon
All of my classes are currently reading Alabama Moon by Watt Key. If you didn't notice it is one of my faves....Two classes have almost finished and 8-3 has finished (don't give away the ending). I want you to write about your favorite character from the book. Tell us about the character you chose and add the traits you like best about them. You could even include a part of the story they were in that you liked best.

I like alabama moon because it keeps me interested in it.its really hard to believe a 10year old can live in the forest all by himself and thats why i like reading about how he does it. I also liked the book because of the friendship of the boys,i recommened this book to anyone who likes nature, friendship,and a kid who thinks he can beat up everyone.

ReplyDeleteAlabma moon is a good book for little kids it tells them how to be good in life and to respect others. It tell people that you doont have to beat people up when they do something wrong to you and to show hard workmen ship and how to raise you're kids correctly. I liked the book becuase it was advaentureish, and exicting i thin k the author did a good job on the book. I wonder if Watt key did some of the stuff in the book, thats kinda nasty. It was a good book i really liked it :)

ReplyDeletehi,alabama moon is awsome its about this boy that lives in the forest and he get chased by a constable and his dad dies he is the alone untill he gets caught and he finds a freind named Kit and Hal they were going to run away. From the pensin boys home. Hal goes back with his dad.
ReplyDeleteHi, Mr.Hanson after we finished Alabama Moon, I think my favriote character is Moon because he alway looks out for his friends and tried to help pap when he said he didn't need meidcal attention. I think my favirote part in the book was when Hal did Grand Theft Auto by stealing the bus from Pinson.
ReplyDeleteIm going to tell you about one of my favorite books called alabama moon by Watt Key. This book is about a ten year old boy who lives in the forest with his dad. But when his dad dies, He is destined to go to Alaska. But Along the way, He is Chased By Cops, gets thrown in jail, and breaks out of a boys home. It all seems bad, but he makes friends, and starts to regret following in his fathers footsteps. But I dont want to spoil the ending, so I hope you read it . I reccomend this to anyone who loves a good heartwarming and an action packed story
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Character is Moon. I like that he can "whip up on" anybody. my favorite part is when moon and kit "trap" Constable Sanders and take his pistol
ReplyDeletei like moon because he thinks he can whip up on anyone but you cant defend your self against a 6 foot 4 220 lp man with one punch between the legs. anyway thats what i think about moon.
ReplyDeletealabama moon is a rilley good book its about a kid Moon Blake and his dad. Thay live out in the forest in a home made shelter becous moons dad does not like the goverment.Moon meats to kids named Hall and Kit in a place caled pincin and thay are moons first friends. Now you have to read the rest of the book so you can figure out wat happens.

The only reason is i hate school and he dose not have to go to school.He leans from his dad and book that are in his shelter.In the book they are running away from the law.Untill sumthing gos rong and his dad gits relly sick. The best part in the book i thought was when they say shutup obergone.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite character is Moon Blake, also refered to as 'Alabama Moon'. He is a ten year old boy and the main character in the book. After his dad dies he sets out for Alaska (his dad told him to go to Alaska). Moon runs into trouble along the way. Several times he is intersepted by Constable Sanders, a guy who will do anything to get Moon in jail. Moon is put in a boys' home where he meets Kit and Hal. They exscape and are tracked down. Hal leaves and Kit ends up getting sick. Kit is taken to the hospital and Moon lives at Hal's house for a while. Hal takes Moon to see Kit and Moon is agian captured by Sanders. Sanders takes Moon to find the gun he took from him. Moon lies about the gun's where-abouts and exscapes.
ReplyDeleteHello I am Fabian S. and my favorite charicter is Kit Slip . Kit is a child who has spent most of his life in hospitals and boy`s homes.Kit is truly a child who just want`s to experiance new and differnt things.
ReplyDeleteMy all time favorite charactor from "Alabama Moon" has to be Kit. He didn't really have many friends before Moon came along and he got totally into the whole "living in the forest" idea. Unfortunatly he has this illness and got sick, but i love how spunkky he is and how hes up for everything, and all he wants is a real skin hat from a deer. He's such a good friend he wouldn't tell anyone were Moon and hal were no matter what. Definatley my favorite charactor.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite character is Moon Blake. Moon has been living in in the wilderness since he was born. When he decided to leave the shelter,that he was living in, and go to Alaska, which he hasn't accomplished yet and I don't think he is ever gonna go there...anyways when he did that he was 10 years old. He was on his own because his mom and dad died until he met 2 kids later on in the story. Their names were Hal and Kit at Pinson. Thats all I can put cuz i took too long.
